Charlie Void is returning “Downtown” to digital platforms after discovering retrospectively that the recording reached No. 55 on South Africa’s iTunes Electronic Songs Chart in January 2025.
A catalogue recording returns
Originally recorded in 2018 and commercially released on 17 January 2022, the song’s historical chart result resurfaced during a broader review of the Charlie Void catalogue and archived career history.
The public chart archive records “Downtown” at No. 55 on the South Africa iTunes Electronic Songs Chart, with one week on chart during the week of 12 January 2025.
